CNDH Regional Commission of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra Region holds its Sixth Regular Meeting

The Regional Human Rights Commission in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra Region (CRDH) will hold its Sixth Regular Meeting in line with the requirements of Law 76-15 on the reorganization of the National Human Rights Council (CNDH) and Article 36 of its Rules of Procedure, on Saturday 24 December 2022, at 09.30 am at the municipality of L’Marsa, Laayoune, Morocco.

This meeting will schedule presentations of reports on the three Standing Committees (Protection, Promotion, and the Effectiveness of Human Rights) and the CRDH annual report 2022.

The CRDH was installed on 8 September 2020 following Article 44 of Law 76-15. It includes the Moroccan provinces of Laayoune, Tarfaya, Boujdour and Es-Smara. It is composed of 21 members proposed by regional representative bodies of judges, lawyers, Morocco’s Supreme Ulema Council, physicians, journalists and civil society associations, in addition to actors working in protecting and promoting human rights.
