The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior

The Advisory Council on Human Rights, the Ministry of Justice (Directorate of Penal Affairs and Pardon), Ministry of Interior (National Laboratory of Scientific Police) and the Gendramerie Royale’s Genetic Laboratory signed a cooperation protocol. The protocol aims to confirm or quash the identity of the persons died following the past gross human rights violations, by conducting a DNA analysis on samples of human remains and saving blood samples of the relatives of the disappeared with unknown fate whose places of burial are still unknown.
